Everything you need to know about RAYA
Can I try the platform for free?
Yes. Every new user gets 20 free credits valid for 14 days upon signing up. You can spend them on any feature - image generation, edits, moodboards, 3D models, homestaging, even video. It's enough to evaluate render quality and the workflow before committing to a subscription. No credit card required.
How does the credit system work?
Credits are the universal currency on the platform. A 2K render costs 2 credits, a 4K render costs 4 credits, and video generation starts at 6 credits. New users get 20 free credits to start. You top up credits with a subscription in one of the plans: 20, 50, 110, or 220 credits per month.
How many credits does each feature cost?

Can I buy more credits without waiting for the next billing cycle?
Yes. From your account panel or directly in the editor, you can purchase a 50, 100, or 200 credit pack at any time. The price per credit is lower on higher-tier plans. An active subscription is required. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you cancel your subscription, they are temporarily locked - they become available again as soon as you reactivate within their validity period.
How does changing my plan (upgrade/downgrade) work?
Upgrade takes effect immediately - we charge a prorated difference for the current billing period, and the additional credits land in your account right away. Downgrade kicks in at the end of the current billing period, so until then you keep the full credit allowance from the higher plan. You can cancel a scheduled change at any time.
Will I get a VAT invoice?
Yes. To receive a business invoice, tick the "I'm purchasing as a business" option at checkout and enter your company details - we'll then issue an invoice automatically after every payment (subscription, renewal, additional credit purchase). For Polish customers we apply 23% VAT; for EU businesses with a valid VAT-EU number we apply reverse charge (0% VAT). All invoices are available in your account panel under "Payment history".
What happens to my credits if I cancel my subscription?
Your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period - you can use up your remaining credits during that time. Once it expires, subscription credits disappear and purchased credits get temporarily locked (but not lost). If you reactivate your subscription within 12 months of the purchase date, you'll regain access to them.
Do credits expire?
Free starter credits (20 credits for new users) are valid for 14 days from sign-up. Credits from an active subscription roll over from month to month and remain available as long as your subscription stays active.
What if a generation fails?
If a render fails due to a technical error on our side (timeout, model error), credits are automatically refunded to your account - usually within seconds, at most within a few minutes. If you don't see the refund, contact us and we'll check the logs manually.
What if I don't like the result?
AI works best with clean, high-contrast source images and precise prompts. If the result doesn't meet your expectations, adjust the parameters (style, lighting, angle) and try again. We don't refund credits for "not the right vibe", as every attempt actually consumes computing power, but we're happy to suggest what you could change for a better result - just message support.
What formats do you support and what's the size limit?
Uploaded images: JPG, PNG, TIF, up to 10 MB. The best results come from high-contrast viewport captures (SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, Blender) or clean interior photos. You can download the result as PNG or JPG.
What 3D software is compatible?
RAYA works with any 3D software that can export images. This includes SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, Blender, and many more. Simply export a viewport or render and upload it.
How long does generation take?
1K/2K render - typically 20-40 seconds. 4K render - 1-2 minutes. Video - 1-5 minutes depending on length and quality. You can keep working on other projects while we process; we'll notify you when the generation is done.
Can I use the images for commercial projects?
Yes! You own full commercial rights to all images generated on our platform, regardless of the package you purchased.
Are my projects used to train AI models?
No. The images you upload, your prompts, and the generated renders are not used to train or fine-tune any AI models - neither ours nor our providers'. We use paid, production-tier plans from model providers whose terms of service explicitly exclude using customer data for training. This is an important difference from many free AI tools, where uploaded projects by default feed training datasets. Your projects remain exclusively yours - both in terms of intellectual property and data privacy.
