Raya is an AI video generator that turns a single image into a short film. Generating AI video from photos needs no animation software, no camera setup and no frame rendering: you upload a frame, pick a length and format, and a few minutes later you watch the finished clip.

The tool was built for interior and architectural visualizations, so image to video from a visualization sticks to what the image shows: the building, the materials and the light. A video costs from 5 credits, and you make your first shots on the free credits of a trial account.

How does AI video generation from photos work?

The uploaded image becomes the first frame of the video. From there AI adds motion: the camera moves into the frame, the light changes, curtains move in the wind. Photo to video generation works the same for a photograph, a render from 3D software and a visualization made in Raya.

The video is made in the cloud, so your computer stays free and you need no powerful graphics card. You watch the finished clip on the page and later find it in your account history.

What you set before generating

  • Length: 4, 6, 8, 10 seconds
  • Resolution: 720p or 1080p
  • Format: landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16
  • Motion: a ready-made shot or your own prompt

The price depends on length and resolution, and a ready-made shot adds 2 credits.

AI animation: ready-made shots or your own prompt

You set the motion in two ways. Both start from the same image and end with the same kind of file.

  • Ready-made shots

You pick a shot from the list and click Generate. You do not write a word, because every shot has its own prompt tuned for interiors and architecture. A ready-made shot adds 2 credits.

  • Your own prompt

You describe the motion in your own words: a slow push-in on the kitchen island, the camera sliding along the facade, a person walking into the living room. Animating a photo this way gives you control over what happens in the scene.

  • First and last frame

With your own prompt you can upload a second image as the last frame. AI then makes a smooth transition between them, for example from an empty room to a furnished one or from day to night.

Shot sequence: a whole film from one visualization

The ready-made shot “Shot sequence” turns one image into several frames joined by cuts: a wide shot, a close-up on a detail, a calm camera move. Animating a visualization this way looks like an edited film, not a single camera pass.

This shot gives us the best results, which is why it is selected by default. The prompt tells AI to keep the style, light and layout of the visualization and to stay with what is already in the frame.

Ready-made shots for AI video generation

The list holds 9 ready-made shots in two groups. Each has a preview, so you see what to expect before generating.

Camera

  • Shot sequenceSeveral frames with cuts in one clip, from a single image.
  • Push-inThe camera slowly moves towards the centre of the frame.
  • Side slideThe camera slides sideways and the foreground and background drift apart, as on a slider.
  • Rack focusThe camera stays still and the focus moves from the foreground to the background.
  • Static cameraThe frame stays put and only the scene moves: light, fabrics, leaves.

Effects

  • Furniture RevealAn empty room fills with furniture that slides into place.
  • Furniture from BoxFurniture jumps out of a cardboard box in the middle of the room and settles into the interior.
  • Time of DayA timelapse in which day turns into evening and the lights come on.
  • Changing SeasonsThe same view passes through the seasons, best on an exterior shot of a building.

How to generate an AI video from a photo step by step

Who is video from a visualization for?

A video helps wherever a still image does not hold attention.

  • Architects and developers

You show a building design in motion before it exists: the camera along the facade, a change in the time of day, several shots of the building in one clip. That material goes into a client presentation and onto a development's website.

  • Interior designers

You turn an interior visualization into a portrait video for Instagram or TikTok. A design that is one of many as a still catches the eye in motion and shows the client the mood of the room.

    tools for interior designers →
  • Furniture makers and stores

A piece shown in a room setting comes alive: the camera moves in on the sofa, light travels across the fabric. A short product film is made without a shoot and without a studio.

visualizations for the furniture industry →
  • Estate agents and home stagers

You turn an empty flat furnished with home staging into a video in which the furniture appears in the room. A listing with a moving image stands out on a property portal.

Where does the image for the video come from?

The generator takes any image, but it works best with a polished visualization. In Raya you make one on the same account.

  • A visualization from a 3D model

You turn a viewport screenshot from 3D software or a sketch into a photorealistic visualization, and a button under the result takes it straight to the video generator.

  • Plugins for 3D software

In SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD and the other programs you generate the video in the plugin panel, without leaving your project.

  • Fixes before animating

If something is off in the image, fix it in the editor before you make the video. A change on a still frame costs less than repeating a video.

Why Raya as architectural animation software?

Bringing renders to life with AI makes sense when the video shows your design and not a loose take on it. That is why Raya works as an architectural animation app focused on one thing: motion inside the frame you already have.

  • No scene animation

You set up no cameras, keyframes or lighting. An interior animation from a photo is made from a single frame, so the visualization you prepare for the client anyway is enough.

  • A ready interior video presentation

A few shots from the same project add up to a short presentation for a client or an investor. As software for interior video presentations Raya gives you landscape and portrait files at 720p or 1080p.

  • Minutes instead of hours of rendering

A clip is made in the cloud in a few minutes. A classic animation from a render engine computes every frame separately and ties up the workstation for a long time.

  • One account for stills and video

Visualizations, editing and video are paid with the same credits. You do not pay for a separate animation service.

Examples: architectural and interior animations made with AI

Videos generated from single visualizations. Each was made from one image, without animating a 3D model and without editing. Hover over a tile or tap it to play the video.

Interior animation from a photo

A living room with an open kitchen in motion: a dog on the sofa, a person at the counter and warm light from the window.

Architectural animation

A winter street with townhouses seen from above: cars drive by, pedestrians cross, and the buildings stay exactly as in the visualization.

Product video

A bouclé armchair in a living room setting: a person walks into the frame and sits down, so the scale of the piece is clear.

Home staging in motion

An empty room fills with a sofa, an armchair and a coffee table - from the first frame to the last.

AI video generation - frequently asked questions

Is AI video generation from photos free?

To start, yes. After signing up you get 20 credits valid for 14 days, with no card. The cheapest video costs 5 credits, so the free pool is enough for 4 videos. You watch free videos on the page, and downloading files is unlocked by a paid plan.

What kind of photo can I turn into an AI video?

A photograph of an interior, a render from 3D software, a visualization or a product photo. The sharper and better lit the frame, the steadier the motion. You crop the image to 16:9 or 9:16 before the video is made.

How long can the video be and at what resolution?

A video lasts 4, 6, 8, 10 seconds, at 720p or 1080p. The price rises with length and resolution: from 5 credits for the shortest clip at 720p to 21 credits for the longest at 1080p with a ready-made shot.

How long does it take to generate an AI video?

Usually from one to a few minutes, depending on length and resolution. You can stay on the page and watch the progress or come back later: the finished video is in your account history.

Can I make a portrait video for Instagram and TikTok?

Yes. You choose the 9:16 format and crop the image to portrait before generating. The landscape 16:9 format works well in presentations and on a website.

Do I need to know how to write prompts to generate an AI animation?

No. Ready-made shots have their own prompts and you just pick them from the list. Your own prompt is useful when you want a specific motion.
