The starting point is what you already have on your drive. Raya accepts a screenshot of a view from a 3D model, a photo of an existing room and a freehand concept sketch. The model needs no materials applied and no lighting set up - a readable shape and a perspective are enough.
AI reads geometry, proportions and framing from the uploaded view, and fills in the finish based on your description and the style you pick. That is why this room visualization software shows your interior and not a similar room from the internet: the layout of walls, windows and furniture stays the same, while material, light and mood change.
You download the finished image in 2K or 4K. When you need material for print or for a large board, you enlarge the visualization with the upscale tool to 4K or 6K for 4 credits, without generating it again.
The biggest change in everyday work is not that one visualization is ready faster. It is that you can afford ten. A photo of an armchair from a showroom, or of a piece the client wants to keep, comes back as a 3D model in FBX or GLB, from 6 credits. You place it in the scene in your own software and keep designing with a real shape instead of an approximation.
A photo of an empty flat gets furniture, textiles and accessories - for 2 credits in 2K. It is useful right at the start, before a model exists: the client sees what can be done with the space and you model nothing on spec.
The generator composes your references into one board: colours, materials, furniture and the mood of the interior, from 2 credits. Material for the first meeting, where you agree on the direction before you start drawing.
Raya does not change how you design. It changes what showing the design costs - in time, in hardware and in rounds of revisions. The same arithmetic works out in a design studio and for a freelancer, with the difference that a freelancer has nobody to hand the render to.

The table is about the presentation stage. Documentation, dimensions and the layout stay in your design software - Raya does not replace that.
Software for interior architects rarely has rendering that keeps up with the pace of client approvals. Raya does not replace your design software - it adds to it. Plugins start the generation from inside the window you run the project in: they capture the current view from the model and send the finished visualization back to the plugin, with no exporting and no uploading of files to a browser.

Does Raya replace classic interior design software?
No, and it does not intend to. Floor plans, dimensions, the layout and documentation still happen in your own software. Raya replaces the rendering stage: instead of setting up materials, lights and cameras, you upload a view from a finished model and get a photorealistic image out of it.
Will the visualization keep the dimensions and proportions of my interior?
Proportions and layout, yes - AI reads them from the uploaded view, so walls, windows and the spacing of furniture stay where you designed them. Raya is not a measuring tool, though: it will not read a dimension off a drawing and will not reproduce a catalogue piece to the centimetre. Dimensions and documentation stay in your software, while the visualization shows what the interior looks like. The second thing worth knowing up front: a classic render engine computes the same image from the same scene every time, while AI interprets the uploaded view anew each time - there is no guarantee of hitting it on the first attempt. With a readable interior one generation is usually enough; with a harder scene - many planes, mirrors or unusual geometry - it can take several before the result is satisfying. The better the material you upload, the better the chance of a good result first time: a readable frame, a visible shape and a proper export rather than a screen grab make the biggest difference here.
Can single elements of a visualization be changed?
Yes. You select a part of the finished image and describe what should change - a different wall colour, a different sofa, fewer accessories. You can also upload a photo of a specific piece of furniture as a reference. The rest of the frame stays as it is, so a revision does not mean generating the whole visualization again.
How many versions of the same interior can I show a client?
As many as the credits allow - each variant is a separate generation for 2 credits in 2K. In practice designers show three or four colour and material versions in one meeting, because at that cost there is no need to decide in advance which one is worth preparing.
Can I keep work done for a client confidential?
Yes. Uploaded images, descriptions and generated visualizations are not used to train AI models - neither ours nor our providers'. We use paid production plans whose licence terms explicitly exclude using customer data for training.
Which interior design software does Raya work with?
